A Dog's Best Friend

Cash and Beau have a friendship like none other. Cash is my daughter Gillian's dog and these two really know how to have fun together. It's that Lab bond. Click on photo to view larger, it looks better!

Beau is learning a new party trick, he has perfected carrying his orange ball and a stick at the same time. He's practiced for quite some time...now he just has to tweak the process in the water, that's a little trickier.

How's this smile?

Whenever we are out and about I'm clicking off pictures whether I have my camera or not. Sometimes I'll use my iPhone and it surprises me how often it takes a good shot. I took a shot very similar to this with my phone and loved the lighting in this tunnel, so I went back with my 'real' camera to duplicate it.Sort of like in the old days when they'd take a Polaroid first. This shot took about 20 tries to get Beau to stay while I backed up.His brain doesn't work when there is a ball around. Taken with a 2.8 100mm macro lens. I like the blue/grey and yellow together.
